London for Indian Visas
27th May 2008

We travelled down to London on the overnight coach from Darlington. Havinmg had little sleep we arrived at Victoria at 06:30 and took the tube to Temple. A short walk and we joined the queue (with 22 people in front of us) at the Indian High Commission at 07:00.
08:30 We were given our "queue numbers " and by 09:30 we had our Visas. Getting there early had paid off!

Our next stop was a café near Covent Garden for breakfast. Then a tour of the many "outdoor" shops and a walk to Trafalgar Sqaure.

We visited the Inian Tourist Office, Played with the toys in Hamleys and spent time in Regents Park.

A short trip un the Underground again from Marble Arch to Kings Cross and then the 18:30 Train back to Northallerton.
